KIDSEAT!  Neighborhood House , Head Start, and  Murray Schools CREW

With the help of  Kathy Briggs,  RN & School District Nurse (retired) and Dan Canary, U of U Professor,   we have put a number on the at-risk kids in the Salt Lake Valley. Using the statistics provided by the these schools Districts,  Jordan, Granite, Canyons, Salt Lake, & Murray, there are 55,055 children that receive a free lunch every day during school hours.   Easily half of these children might benefit from a weekend food program. We started a backpack program for Summer 2017 piggybacking with some sandwich programs in Murray School District.
