Sam Melonas, VP

Graphic designer,  who created our brochure and logo and a long time B&G Club supporter, pianist extraordinaire .

It takes a team of fantastic volunteers to make sure KidsEat! is functioning properly and the organization is gathering as much food as possible to feed the kids with weekend backpacks at several children's clubs and daycare facilities. We're fortunate to have some of the best dedicating their time, energy, and expertise to our cause.

With the help of  Kathy Briggs,  RN & School District Nurse (retired) and Dan Canary,

U of U Professor (retired)  we have put a number on the at-risk kids in the Salt Lake Valley. Using the statistics provided by the these schools Districts,  Jordan, Granite, Canyons, Salt Lake, & Murray, there were 55,000 + children that receive a free lunch every day during school hours in 2016.   Easily half of these children might benefit from a weekend food program. We also  started a backpack program for Summer 2017 piggybacking with some sandwich programs in Murray School District.
